Dear Visitor,

Welcome to Vic Record's Bandcamp! We are a group of students who set out to build and maintain a student-run recording facility at Victoria University in the University of Toronto. The idea was to provide a means by which students could professionally record and publish their original audio works. There are many publications on campus for written and visual work produced by students – but before Vic Records, there were no publications by which students could release recorded music or audio art. The club was started in order to fill this gap.

Vic Records encourages students who perform music in any and all genres to contact vic.records@vusac.ca for more information, and how to get involved for the 2011/2012 recording sessions!

This is our first academic year in action, and we are very pleased to announce that our first compilation album (2010/2011) is on the way! It's set for release on Friday, April 8th. We'll be celebrating the release with a concert in the relocated Cat's Eye/Birge Carnegie Reading Room at 8 p.m. Come out and join us for an amazing evening of music, and help celebrate this great new club at Vic!
